Qualified candidates must possess ability to perform tasks related to Emergency Haz Mat situations and will be required to use a variety of specialized equipment under supervision.JobResponsibilitiesWork with the Environmental Emergency Response Teams, Transportation, Fixed Facility and Site Remediation ProjectsEnsure work is completed according to measurements, specifications, drawings, plans, or other materials/instructionsEnsure health and safety procedures are strictly followed, including, but not limited to, safe lifting, personal protective equipment, and chemical labelingProactively communicate issues and problems that may or are affecting completion of the job to the responsible Project Manager.Learn and understand MSDS protocols for chemicals used during mitigation processesPerform Daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable conditionMust maintain attention to detailComply with prescribed safety procedures or federal laws regulating waste disposal methods.Decontaminate equipment or sites to remove hazardous or toxic substances.Prepare hazardous waste for processing or disposal.Use of proper lifting techniques, use of slide pads, use of Styrofoam blocks, care and protection of customer personal belongingsWill be required to meet BELFOR Standards in safeguarding other people's propertyMust have a comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practicesWork under time constraints to meet specific timelinesWill be required to work nights and weekends as requested as travel periodicallyReport time worked and equipment and consumables used timely and accuratelyAttend BELFOR sponsored operations and safety training courses as requiredPDN-9913225a-8a80-4811-a946-6598bf9ef26e
