For more information, visit www.observe.ai.The OpportunityWe have aggressive growth plans and need a self-motivated and highly driven Sales superstar to join our team as a Business Development Representative, located in the Greater Salt Lake City Area. Overall, the goal is to cultivate relationships with prospective customers, develop qualified leads and build a pipeline for our Account Executive team. You will get the experience to work with our most senior account executives and learn sales methodology from our most veteran sales leaders. This role provides:

  • High income earning opportunities based on individual performance

  • Product training to develop an in-depth understanding of our product and space
  • Internal mentor and buddy program cross-departmentally for networking in-houseWhat you will be doing
    • Secure and qualify meetings with prospective clients through outbound prospecting (cold calling, email, and social media) into target contacts and organizations across verticals
    • Research and map prospective new accounts, identify opportunities, and strategize an approach to create interest for enterprise-level companies within your assigned area
    • Partner and build relationships with both new and existing prospects to thoroughly understand and align their needs with our solutions and uncover net new opportunities
    • Handle software capability questions in the sales qualification process
    • Achieve, and exceed, weekly/monthly/quarterly pipeline metrics (appointments, qualified leads, new contacts, etc.) to help achieve sales goals
    • You will work side by side with our Account Executive teams to strategize and generate value for existing and potential customers
    • Manage Account Executive pipeline to convert qualified calls into demo meetings
    • Attend weekly Enterprise meetings and contribute
    • Learn and become an expert on product offerings
    • Leverage techstack proficiently (Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, etc)
    • Manage and monitor prospecting status, data integrity, and your weekly forecasting in Salesforce.comWho you are
      • You're a self-starter-motivated, driven and focused on achieving goals
      • You're relentless in pursuit of your goals, and resilient in the face of a challenge or ambiguity
      • You always bring your A game-you don't do passive, average or mediocre
      • You have a passion for the tech space and how technology is shaping the user experience
      • You have a desire to be in a software sales or other customer-facing positions as a career progression
      • You're comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
      • You can think on your feet in a conversation and answer unexpected questions with ease
      • You're willing and eager to learn, be coached, and can adapt easily to change
      • You have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
      • You have a commitment to professionalism and have solid self-organizational skills
      • Not afraid of smile and dial actions and phone related activitiesBonus if you have
        • SaaS/cloud experience
        • Prior exposure to a CRM tool / prospecting tools (Salesforce.com, Outreach, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, and other prospecting tools)
        • Experience in sales or the tech space
        • Proven ability to cold call, cold email, multithread and confidently execute creative prospecting techniques
        • Proven ability to influence others, create a sense of urgency, and diligent follow throughBy 60 days in you will be able to:
          • In just 60 days as a SDR at Observe.AI, you will have learned to prospect, call, and communicate the value of our platform to our audiences.
          • Articulate and command the complex sales cycle across a variety of industry verticals
          • Understand the technical landscape of the Observe.AI target audience and positioning
          • Successfully handle objections both live, on the ground on the phone and via email
