The Field Installation Coordinator is a functional management position overseeing installation logistics and install efficiency for one or more branches. The Coordinator is ultimately responsible for ensuring solar installation projects are staffed and completed meeting all quality requirements. The individual filling this role facilitates this through assisting in recruiting, training and onboarding install teams and team members. The role may include responsibilities associated with directing projects, and supporting field crews, including logistics needs.

The duties of the Field Resource Coordinator, as determined by organizational standards, will include but are not limited to:

  • Recruit, train and onboard field/install teams and team members
  • Help schedule and maximize install schedules ensuring maximum installs based on resources and time
  • Evaluate project resource needs ensuring supply of materials and labor coincide with deadlines
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, and all project needs are closed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Occasionally attend to in-field needs, and work with managers, crews and foreman
  • Assist in inventory and equipment management and preparation for jobs effectively by helping to forecast future materials needed
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns immediately
  • Review CRM and partner portals and ensure jobs with loose ends get closed and updated
  • Ensure that best practices are consistently applied throughout the territory assigned
  • Work closely with upper management to provide accurate installation forecasts and branch performance reporting
  • Assist with and help manage on-site facilities and resources as necessary


  • Knowledge of or familiarity with OHSA safety requirements and regulations
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in residential solar industry management
  • Ability to speak Spanish (highly preferred)
  • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and schematics
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering the highest quality end-product possible
  • Ability to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements
  • A valid driver's license
