This role translates our product portfolio strategy to the tactics we need to drive success in sales and marketing and to achieve results. This individual will work closely with our global product, field marketing and sales counterparts to understand the product solutions sets, capabilities and value for targeted markets globally. They will need to track competitors' solutions and positioning and maintain a pulse on emerging trends. The messaging they develop should focus on solving our clients' problems in a genuine and engaging style.The Director, Product Solution Marketing will need to be an industry and vertical solutions product evangelist and will play an integral role in organizing product launches. You will act as the SME for shared marketing services teams. The role requires collaboration with the larger marketing team to develop compelling programs that standout in a competitive marketplace and help drive demand. This individual will also drive Cybersource thought leadership for their industry vertical and solutions product area based on keen insight into buyers' needs and industry landscape. This role reports to the Senior Director of Product Marketing for Cybersource.**Lehi, UT or Austin, TX arepreferred. We are open to other Visa office locations too.Essential Functions:

Driving horizontal solution-level marketing messages that align to business processes, trends, and key initiatives Adopting a bold and engaging storytelling approach to articulate industry, vertical, or client-based product value propositions, focusing specifically on business issues and complex solution-level sales Monitoring industry trends with the Cybersource strategy team, and identifying, mapping, and sharing those trends and terminology as the subject matter expert for the marketing organization Knowing our direct and indirect buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria to maintain industry credibility and leadership via our thought leadership and solutions marketing content. Build key vertical/industry buyer personas.
Tracking competitor activities and having a good understanding of competitive products, value propositions and positioning Creating content for CyberSource products and solutions in the vertical/industry vernacular including, but not limited to use cases, presentations, videos, solutions collateral, website content, demos and blogs Regularly present to and influence Vice presidents, Global Product Management and Sales Leadership Translate findings and connect disparate information sources into strategic messages and recommendations Develop key strategies to differentiate Cybersource solutions in targeted global markets and customer segments Identify and map localization strategies for Cybersource products and solutions globally Collaborate with regional leadership to ensure that product and vertical solution marketing strategies align with and drive specific segment, channel, and revenue growth goals Build relevant content for industry inbound and outbound marketing activities in the Field Channel Translate the solution story for all Developers accessing CYBS globally.
Collaborating with product management, sales and marketing peers to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas Supporting our sales channels by enabling solution understanding, developing internal tools and external collateral Developing a marketing plans for targeted industry and vertical solutions, including key activities and budgets with field marketing and shared marketing services teams.
Translating the Cybersource solutions story and applicable products for our global developer audience.


Basic Qualifications:

10 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

12-15 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD Proven & experienced B2B Marker; knowledge and understanding of eCommerce preferred, payments industry/risk management experience would be a plus Ability to operate in a hyper-growth environment Agility to shift priorities and direction to align with rapidly changing market conditions Strong writer and storyteller, communicator, and team builder Strong presentation-building skills and proven ability to work and think globally Self-starter and proactive attitude with a strategic mind-set Deeply customer centric and passionate about understanding the needs of our clients Experienced in collaborating across functional areas, empathetic to others' needs Highly skilled in metric-based decision making, creative problem solver, adaptable and able to handle ambiguity 10+ years of progressive product marketing experience

Travel Requirements

Travel as needed by the business up to 15% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements:

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms
