What you'll be doing:

The person in this role will serve two primary functions. They will assist the senior paid search strategist with the day-to-day management, account execution & optimization, reporting, and data analysis of high priority accounts.

This person will also manage paid search campaigns with the support and guidance of the senior paid search strategist on advanced digital marketing tactics, budget forecasting & planning, strategy development, and the adoption of new channels. Day-to-day, you'll manage paid search campaigns while learning new platforms, strategies, marketing tools, and tactics through training sessions, collaborative projects, and ongoing mentorship.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Support Paid Search Strategists with the account execution & optimization of 5 - 10 high priority, high-spend accounts.

  • Owning strategy and execution on 5 - 8 accounts within their Strategist's portfolio.

  • Continuously advance knowledge of digital marketing strategies, platforms, tactics, optimizations, and channels.

  • Increase quality leads at efficient costs by testing new strategies on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

  • Be a part of the ongoing conversation of how to best execute and measure multi-channel digital marketing campaigns across search, display, social media, video, email, and other channels.

  • Plan and execute online marketing campaigns and tests, including implementation, optimization, and analysis.

  • Increase customer acquisition and engagement via paid search marketing, including Google, Bing, and others.

  • Create, launch, and track frequent A/B ad copy, landing page, and other creative tests using some of the latest testing tools and methodologies.

  • Analyze keyword performance, making recommendations, and executing on real-time data.

  • Managing reports to measure campaign performance and show ROI efforts.

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in marketing, business, or related field

  • 1-2 years of SEM experience, preferably in a B2B environment

  • Experience at an agency or in an account management role

  • Interest in the booming technology and SaaS space

  • Passion for digital marketing and complete understanding of online marketing metrics like ROI, CTR, CPC, CPA, CVR, etc.

  • Google AdWords experience with some knowledge of Google Display Network, Bing Ads, Google Analytics

  • Google Adwords certified (Google Analytics preferred, but not required)

  • Excellent data analysis skills

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects

  • Experience with a CRM platform (preferably Salesforce), SEM bid management platforms (such as Kenshoo, Marin or Acquisio), and social media ad platforms

  • Excel is your best friend!

  • Experience using Google Tag Manager is a plus

  • Experience running ads on Capterra is a plus

  • Experience with programmatic is a plus

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000
