L3Harris is currently seeking a Radio Frequency (RF) & Antenna
Product Line Engineer. This position works with, and leads, a
cross-functional team to manage all engineering aspects of one or
more products in L3Harris BCSs product line. The systems engineer
becomes a product expert managing product improvements and many
enhancement efforts for supported product. Interfaces closely with
product, program, and executive management to provide technical
support for the products they manage. Lead product design
enhancements and upgrades on an occasional basis. Run product
interoperability and design verification resting as major product
changes occur. Also works closely with L3H Operations, and contract
manufacturers to ensure product manufacturability and optimize
process issues, resolve engineering design defects, to improve
product yield and testability.
Skills and Experience:
Proficient interpersonal communication skills are required,
including ability to present to larger audiences.
Effective problem solving skills and the ability to meet
Availably to occasionally work extended hours to meet
contractual delivery schedules.
Ability and willingness to travel when required, leading and
supporting customer installation, demonstrations, and general field
Out of State candidates must be willing to relocate to Salt Lake
An ABET (EAC/CAC) accredited Bachelor's degree in an Engineering
discipline is strongly preferred, or equivalent technical education
6+ years' knowledge of RF fundamental engineering concepts,
practices, and procedures for the solution of technical
Experience with root-cause analysis desired. Familiarity with
electrical, mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineering
required. Must work well in a team environment as well as have good
team leadership skills.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Technical knowledge of L3 product line is desired.
Familiarity with production test, validation, and verification
methods and best practices is beneficial.
