Today 22 of the top 25 property insurance companies in the U.S. and 10 of the top 10 Canadian insurers use Xactware property insurance claims tools. Xactware features software solutions for every phase of a building's life: from remodeling to totally replacing a building, from determining the cost of rebuilding a structure to preserving and repairing a home.Position OverviewOur implementation specialists are responsible for leading both small and large-scale projects to assist our customers in the successful onboarding of new software solutions and services post-sales. The implementation specialist should expect to oversee multiple implementation projects simultaneously and would be expected to establish a communication plan with the customer, define workflow and usage of products, coordinate training and consulting with the appropriate teams, then transition the ownership of the account to an account manager once all products and services have been successfully delivered.The Implementation team is part of Xactware's XactAnalysis department though we work closely with our Professional Services department which incorporates Account Managers and Product and Consulting Services. Our team members enjoy a culture based on hard work, job satisfaction, good work-life balance, long-term career growth opportunities, schedule flexibility, and frequent activities and recognition.Creates project plan for implementing new customers, recommends specific features and workflows to make project most effective.Sets up and configures software or import/export processesHolds kickoff and status calls to keep shareholders informed Provides or coordinates customer training Answers customer questions, and aids in troubleshooting errors Provides software demos and assists customers with the implementation of new software features.Logs defects and works with product teams on resolution. Coordinates suggestions and project requests between customers and product teams. Investigates billing inquiries. Submits custom development projects to create customer templates Some travel required to visit customer accounts when appropriate. Must be able to perform duties with reasonable accommodation.Occasional after-hours work required.Qualifications--- Expected to work 40 hours per week--- BA/BS in business or related technical field or equivalent experience preferred--- 2+ years as Product Specialist or equivalent experience--- 2+ years' experience in software support or related area--- Experience debugging and troubleshooting software--- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills--- Ability to manage priorities and tight deadlines--- Ability to work independently to achieve exceptional results--- Ability to manage and motivate personnel who are not direct reports--- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with team members and other departments--- Outstanding Customer service focus and skills--- Knowledge of property insurance claims processes--- Proficient with MS Office, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint--- Knowledge of electronic data interchanges (EDI) or application programming interface (API)--- Familiar with Project Management Methodology--- Familiar with XML, SQL, JSON, FTP, sFTP, and Web Services--- Experience with Oracle, Keycode Manager, and Online Instance Admin--- Specializes in an area of focus such as Data Integration or multi- product Software Implementations.#LI-AO1Additional InformationVerisk Analytics is an equal opportunity employer.All members of the Verisk Analytics family of companies are equal opportunity employers.
