This person carries out Human Resources and Recruiting responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws and will primarily support Encor Solar. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This position will also support a direct sales environment, including the retention and termination of independent contractors. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides guidance and support on day-to-day employee (and independent contractor) relations issues, employee (and independent contractor) investigations, and escalates findings to HR Leadership.
  • Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
  • Creates and maintains accurate and compliant new hire files, forms, acknowledgements.
  • Conduct onboarding of newly hired employees and contractors enter new hire paperwork in HRIS system
  • Completes administrative tasks and other duties assigned including but not limited to creating/updating internal paperwork, forms, and templates.
  • Create customized reports, as necessary.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practice.
  • Assist with recruitment of open positions for various departments.

    • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of 3 years HR and experience with an emphasis on recruiting
    • Knowledge of HR federal laws and regulations
    • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
    • Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
    • Experience with MS Office, Google Workplace, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as neededPreferred Qualifications
      • Proven experience with independent contractors
      • Experience with high-volume independent contractor recruiting and retention
      • Proven experience working in an HR department
      • Natural interpersonal and communication skills
      • Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
