Job SummaryNetApp is seeking a Technical Hardware and
Sustainability Product Manager to join our product management team.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing hardware designs
in large enterprise environments and working collaboratively with
global R&D teams. This role reports to the Senior Director of
Product Management and involves working closely with Product
leadership, Engineering, Procurement, Sustainability, and Support
teams to develop compelling product strategies within the
fastest-growing segment of NetApp's portfolio.Additionally, we are
looking for a strategic and passionate Sustainability Product
Manager to lead our ESG initiatives. Responsibilities include
developing sustainability strategies, reducing environmental
impact, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and
sustainability goals. NetApp's GHG reduction targets are validated
by the SBTi. If you are committed to making positive change,

- Gather, validate, and evaluate product/market requirements
through research, customer visits, industry events, and analyst
relationships.
- Collaborate with R&D to translate sustainability market
requirements into innovative technologies and work with support to
deliver solutions quickly.
- Define product vision, strategy, and business plans, including
roadmaps and lifecycle processes.
- Provide insights through analytics and market research in
collaboration with Product and Procurement teams.
- Translate system functionality and sustainability requirements
into business language.
- Gain experience in global sustainability strategies and provide
insights to corporate leaders.
- Develop and execute programs to reduce carbon footprint, waste,
and resource consumption.
- Understand hardware components' influence on power consumption
and develop sustainability metrics reporting.
- Monitor, measure, and report sustainability metrics aligned
with standards like ESG, GRI, CDP, and UN SDGs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sustainable
practices into business processes.
- Assess and mitigate environmental impacts across operations and
supply chain.
- Engage and educate employees, suppliers, and stakeholders on
sustainability policies.
- Stay updated on sustainability trends, innovations, and legal
requirements.
- Develop partnerships with external organizations to enhance
sustainability initiatives.Job RequirementsTechnical & Industry
Skills:
- Minimum 3+ years in product management, with hardware
experience.
- Experience with server, networking, and storage technologies
relevant to data centers.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery architectures for SAN
and NAS.
- Willingness to handle technical issues and work in fast-paced
environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional
collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and influence skills.
- Knowledge of sustainability frameworks, ESG reporting, and
lifecycle assessments.
- Basic understanding of sustainable supply chains and renewable
energy strategies.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience with Tableau, Salesforce, Jira.
- Hands-on storage provisioning experience.
- Deep knowledge of CPUs, GPUs, DPU, PCIe, NVMe, SSDs.
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related; MBA preferred.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and
certifications.
- 3+ years in sustainability management or CSR.Travel
requirements: 15% to 25% of travel expected.Education &
CompensationTarget salary: $127,500 - $189,200 USD, based on
location, experience, and qualifications. Benefits include health
