This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.What you'll get to do:The Mission Defense Team (MDT) is seeking a highly motivated and qualified system engineer to serve as a Subcontract Technical Engineer, Level 5. You will critically analyze supply chain solutions that meet all program requirements and manage supply chain risks to ensure positive supplier performance through all phases of the program life cycle from capture to sustainment.Additional Responsibilities include:Serve as the main focal point to the subcontractor and accountable both to the MDT IPT Director and Supply Chain leadershipEngage with major subcontractors and their sub-tier suppliers to ensure peak performance and on-time delivery of a quality productCoordinate with internal teams and external vendors to achieve engineering excellence through quality, cost-effective design, and technical risk assessmentsManages and develops strategic key suppliers' practicesCoordinates and collaborates with key stakeholders such as contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program and end-usersEvaluates and monitors supplier quality and reliability; support required delivery schedulesManage the review of SSOW deliverables manage deliverables within Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)Perform supplier assessments, defect data analysis, collaborating with subcontracts, engineering, and supply chain management to identify, resolve, and monitor supplier quality issuesEnsures compliance with Global Supply Chain policies and proceduresDrive continuous product / process improvement at subcontractor levelParticipate in a variety of working groups and customer meetings; ensure communication ofrisk environment with stakeholdersExecute completion Statement of Work requirements, Program Milestone Exit Criteria, and program maturity commitmentsSelf-starters compelled to take action in the workplace without requiring prompting from supervisorsSupport MDT with other duties as assignedTravel up to 25% of the timeIn addition to technical skills, you will be a self-starter with strong time management skills. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.You'll bring these qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical disciplineA minimum 14 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; 12 years with a Master's; or 9 years with PhD.U.S. Citizenship and an Active Secret Security Clearance or higher awarded or reviewed in the last 6 years, and the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance and special program accessMinimum 4 years of applying and understanding Systems Security Engineering principles applicable to US Government Defense ProgramsMinimum 4 years in showing the ability to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findingsMinimum 4 years of applying and understanding security best practices in addressing program protection risksThese qualifications would be nice to have:Active Top secret clearanceExperience developing Systems Security Engineering requirements for hardware and software assuranceExperience with Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and toolsA solid understanding of Program Protection applicable to US Government Defense Programs and applied knowledge in the application of SSE principles across a broad spectrum of security measures (Cybersecurity, Counterfeit Awareness, Anti-Tamper, HW/SW Assurance, OPSEC, etc.) to protect critical program information (CPI)Evaluating program processes and compliance strategies for large, complex multi-site programsAbility to show self as team player, able to multi-task, able to generate quality work products independently, able to make excellent judgement and show interpersonal skills#GBSDsystemsSalary Range: $134,700 USD $202,100 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
