This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of VR and the entire entertainment industry.We are looking for a Sr Software Engineer to join our team and help lead critical work on our Engineering team.Technology StackC# .NETSQL ServerWeb UI (TBD)DockerAzure & Azure DevOpsKubernetes (on prem & on cloud)What You Will Do:Architect and develop highly available, scalable, and distributed microservicesMaintain consistency between on prem & cloud servicesSet standards & best practices for all backend software in the companyResearch new technologies & 3rd party integrations, develop proof of conceptsInterface with game developers to support their needsBuild a platform that can be continually enhanced while maintaining support for released VR experiencesKeep up with the bleeding edge of technology and push the limits of reality to new heights the world has yet to seeWhat You Will Need:8+ years developing web servicesStrong expertise in c#Experience greenfielding new application suitesExperience collaborating with multiple teamsExperience mentoring other engineersAble to guide definitions of work and provide proper estimatesAbility to see the "big picture" and understand the needs to address before making assumptions or conclusionsWe are open to both local and remote candidates
