Verisk's Statement on Racial Equity and Diversity supports our commitment to these values and affecting positive and lasting change in the communities where we live and work.Job Description* Ensure the quality and health of the software system* Research and evaluate new technologies and advocate for continual improvement* Implementing technical solutions to well-defined and documented tasks following the established Software Development Life Cycle* Mentor and encourage team members* Take defined business needs and design high-quality technical solutions that satisfy those requirements.* Review software code and provide constructive feedbackQualifications* Bachelor's degree in computer science (or a related field) and 4+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience* Ability to effectively present and instruct team members* Ability to define/refine problems and architect and document technical solutions* Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders* Familiar with and an advocate for the use of development tools and processes to ensure and improve software quality.* Experience with best development practices in a cloud-hosted environment (AWS experience preferred)* Comfortable with leading out and doing implementation in a full-stack development environment* Preferred technologies: C#, Typescript, Angular, WPF, DockerAdditional InformationVerisk Analytics is an equal opportunity employer.All members of the Verisk Analytics family of companies are equal opportunity employers.
