About the Opportunity: Provide call coverage for a local hospital, ensuring timely surgical intervention for patients requiring general surgery. Ideal for a general surgeon seeking a locum tenens position with minimal administrative duties. Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing (with initial focus on August 22nd - August 31st, 2024) Responsibilities: Respond to call requests and provide surgical care for a variety of general surgery cases. Perform procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and laparoscopic surgeries. Collaborate effectively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain a high standard of patient care and communication. Qualifications: Active medical license in the state of Utah (only). Board eligibility or certification in General Surgery a plus. ACLS certification required. Experience in a hospital setting with general surgery is preferred. Excellent clinical skills, surgical expertise, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
