Job Description Job Description Description: Job Title: Dental Assistant - Hygiene Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant specializing in hygiene to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our dental hygienists in providing high-quality care to our patients, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience. Key Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene cleanings & assist the Dentist in exams - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) - Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office Skills and Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred - Previous experience in a dental office or clinical setting is a plus - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills - Experience in using dental software a plus, but not required We offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth.
