Job Summary: Responsible for the maternity unit and all sub-units. Coordinates activities related to labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and the baby nursery. May also be responsible for community outreach programs through education and women's health initiatives. Operates within a set budget and in accordance with organizational performance standards. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. Qualifications: RN Licensure in the State of New Mexico. Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in L&D, and Women's Services in an acute care environment. BLS, ACLS, NRP Certification or obtain per policy upon hire; maintain licensure and certifications.
