Utah Behavior Services is Utah’s premier behavioral healthcare provider, dedicated to creating successful children and developing strong families through high-quality, evidence-based behavioral healthcare. Our Vision Statement is “To empower all families to build their joy as a family.” The Clinician develops, conducts, and oversees the delivery of mental health or behavior analytic services, according to the clinician’s appropriate scope of practice as defined by the Utah Department of Professional Licensing (DOPL) and best practice standards for the behavioral health field. This may include but is not limited to, conducting assessments, determining goals, developing treatment plans, supervising behavior technicians, conducting parent training and whole-family intervention, responding to crises, providing case management services, collaborating with external providers such as schools, and coordinating with team members and leadership for ethical, quality service delivery. Treatment is provided in accordance with all applicable federal and Utah state regulations, UTBS policies and procedures, and according to UTBS curricula, programs, methods, and systems. We need a dynamic family engineer who builds clients up through high-quality, intentional, and realistic treatment. What Winning Looks Like: Strengthening families through clinical expertise, evidence-based practices, and ongoing staff and family training and supervision. Exhibiting resilience in case management is essential for effectively meeting our contractual obligations, leveraging funding agreements, and optimizing capacity and efficiency standards. It is important to note that promotions and raises are associated with satisfactory performance in the Key Result Area/Key Performance Indicator (KRA/KPI). Producing timely documentation and submission of notes, behavior intervention plans, and treatment plans. Displaying a commitment to excellence and professionalism, abiding by one’s clinical code of ethics, and understanding and implementing UTBS policies and procedures. Working as a team by promoting collaboration, critical thinking, building morale, and cultivating optimism and positivity in the workplace Essential Functions: Maintain clinical qualifications, certifications, and licenses, as well as adhere to the other requirements in the Google Drive for the clinical position. Communicate clearly and effectively in English to team members, parents/caregivers Complete all required documentation in a thorough, professional, and timely manner, according to UTBS policies and procedures guidelines. Display honesty and integrity in all elements of job performance and interactions with teammates, Abide by all Utah and federal rules and regulations guiding ABA and Mental Health services, including, but not limited to: Best Practice standards and ethical guidelines of the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB), National Association for Social Workers (NASW), or other applicable licensing board(s); Guidelines and standards set by the Utah Department of Professional Licensing (DOPL); HIPAA (Health Information Portability and Accountability Act); Utah Department of Health and Human Services Code of Conduct; Ethical Principles and Codes of Conduct of the American; Psychological Association (Chapters 3. Human Relations, 4. Privacy and Confidentiality, and 10. Therapy); Fraud, Waste, and Abuse laws, including 45 CFR 152.27. The Clinician's Google Drive will have specific job maps, job duties, procedures, and ongoing job expectations.
