Our mission is to use the power of music to create a positive impact in the world, and we are looking for a Technical Director who shares our vision and wants to help us make it a reality.Description:As Technical Director, you will be a key member of a team dedicated to creating innovative and immersive entertainment experiences that exceed expectations. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader who can inspire and guide teams to deliver exceptional work and create unforgettable moments.Responsibilities:

• Compile and lead the technical team, inspiring them to deliver exceptional work and create magical moments for audiences
• Collaborate with the production team to coordinate all pre-show advancement, identify all creative elements, and ensure that technical requirements and specifications are met, and expectations are exceeded
• Evaluate venues and riders to ensure they meet our high standards for safety and functionality
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, equipment suppliers, and production companies to ensure access to the latest and greatest technology and equipment
• Create technical plans, sets, and oversee the implementation of all technical aspects of productions, including lighting, sound, video, and rigging
• Ensure that all safety and regulatory requirements are met, including securing proper insurance policies
• Manage budgets and timelines for technical aspects of productions, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide creative solutions to ensure seamless event execution
• Continuously evaluate and improve technical processes and procedures to increase efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Travel to every live event to oversee successful execution, and ensure everything runs smoothly and according to plan. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION, AND REMOTE WORK IS NOT AN OPTION.
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical production for live events
  • Experience managing and leading a team of technical professionals
  • Passion for delivering exceptional experiences and creating magical moments for our guests
  • Expert knowledge of lighting, sound, video, and rigging equipment
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and CAD files
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with event planning and production management software
    • Full-time, salaried position
