We are so excited to to have opened our first Ellie in the Salt Lake City area, located in Lehi.Our team is looking for a passionate and unique Assistant Clinical Director to help lead the team. The perfect candidate has thorough therapy experience and wants to be part of building something truly amazing. They also need to have been previously credentialed with the major health insurance providers here in Utah. Ellie Mental Health is structured to remove many of the daily obstacles that get in the way of providing world-class mental health services. Initial patient phone calls will be routed, answered, matched, and scheduled by a dedicated client care team. Billing and collections are managed by another dedicated team to ensure all insurance claims get processed and paid in a timely manner.We hire people passionate about making change in the mental health community. We focus on allowing our staff to bring their whole and authentic selves to work.Compensation & Benefits Make up to $110,000 your first year based on client case load and experience. Includes profit sharing, paid administrative and consulting time. Annual raises are expected based on performance. The Assistant Clinic Director assists the Clinic Director with the following: managing staff performance, hiring and recruiting clinical staff to meet staffing expectation and clinical revenue needs, providing all training and ongoing developmental support, is accountable to meeting clinics fiscal goals, develops and sustains relationships with referral partners, and provides ongoing administrative and clinical oversight. The Assistant Clinic Director stands in for the Clinic Director in their absence and works collaboratively with the Clinic Owner, as needed.Required Skills/Abilities Masters Degree or higher education in mental health discipline. Independently licensed with a state-issued clinical practice license (e.g., LISCW, LMFT, LPCC, LP). Desire to learn strong leadership, problem-solving, and executive skill sets. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice. Desire to understand human resource principles, practices, and procedures. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment. Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Office Suite, Outlook, and Teams. Familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems. Ability to learn skills related to Reporting & Supervision. Assistant Clinic Director reports to Clinic Director. All clinic therapists report to Assistant Clinic Director when the Clinic Director is absent. Tasks & Responsibilities Assist in Hiring, Training, and Staff Management. Assist in providing training for clinic new hires, ensuring all required Ellie Mental Health clinical and operational policies and procedures are taught and followed. Assess ongoing development and training needs and assist with conducting ongoing training as needed. Assist in holding staff compassionately accountable to meeting performance expectations. Assist in managing staff performance, including implementing Performance Coaching, Performance Improvement Plans, and termination process as needed. Assist in managing basic clinic Human Resource tasks. Assist Clinic Director with Supervision and Consultation. Assist in overseeing twice monthly peer consultation groups to ensure clinical excellence and alignment with best practices. Assist in providing clinical oversight to clinics Mental Health Practitioners and Professionals, including signing clinical documentation for pre-licensed providers. Assist in Clinic Oversight. Assist in providing training, staff development, and administrative oversight to support the functioning of the clinic. Assist in monitoring and managing clinic office schedules and office supplies. Assist in providing timely response to concerns raised by clients, clinicians, or external stakeholders. Serve as second point of contact for building management related issues or concerns. Clinic Outreach, Marketing, and Networking Assist with clinics community outreach and engagement efforts, in collaboration with the Clinic Owner and consistent with guidance from Ellie Corporate Outreach Team. Assist the Ellie Corporate Marketing Team to promote clinics online visibility. Organizational Leadership Collaborate with Clinic Owner and Ellie Corporate Team to implement all required policies and procedures. Identify opportunities to improve client care, quality, and effectiveness, and implement changes in collaboration with Clinic Owner. Other duties as assigned.
