Job SummaryWe are looking for a driven, forward thinking eCommerce Business Analytics Manager to join our eCommerce and Merchandising teams. A successful analytics leader will be flexible and creative working with a dynamically growing business, measure performance across the customer journey, and create KPI driven data models to establish performance targets and monitor operating goals. This leader will understand the business challenges in a multi-touch sales funnel and shape tools for the Merchandising and Digital Product teams to understand consumer shopping patterns throughout the site experience, through the contact center, and in marketplace environments.
The eCommerce Business Analytics Manager will manage eCommerce Business Analysts on a growing team, turn business goals into eCommerce performance targets, and partner with the data warehouse team to turn ad-hoc data requests into sustainable dashboard tools.
The eCommerce team prides itself in building strong, productive, cross-functional relationships across the entire business. This leader must be passionate about improving current processes, measuring performance, and understanding how to support improvements with downstream dependencies. Responsibilities

  • Partner with the eCommerce leadership team to build annual business performance and forecasting models for on-site, contact center, and marketplace sales
  • Set annual, monthly, and weekly performance targets by channel to help leadership measure business performance against the annual operating plan
  • Work in conjunction with the eCommerce Leadership Team to provide analysis of the business, measuring core eCommerce KPIs including sales, conversion, sessions, LTV, bounce rate, new vs. repeat and session duration
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process and reporting improvements
  • Partner with Digital Product Management to develop and implement measurement plans to evaluate and evolve new site features
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships with teams including Data Analytics, User Experience, Market Research, Product Development, Marketing, Brand, and Product Merchandising
  • Develop sustainable reporting tools to monitor consumer engagement across DTC channels
  • Manage and coach eCommerce Business Analysis team members
  • Balance and distribute work between eCommerce Business Analysts to ensure reporting is completed on-time and ad-hoc requests meet stakeholder expectations
  • Partner with Data Warehousing, Data Analytics, and Data Integrations teams to ensure eCommerce tracking and reporting tools deliver successful dashboard experiences
  • Digest and understand a complex sales funnel and reporting environment to ensure eCommerce, Product, Finance, and Planning align on uniform metrics
  • Analyze and review on-site performance data to ensure releases are aligned with product goals/objectives
  • Build digestible business reports and dashboards that will help drive decision making throughout the company
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Marketing, Finance, or related field
    • Experience working with eCommerce BI tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager. Experience in Looker, Snowflake, Quantum Metric, and Heap Analytics strongly preferred
    • Excel proficiency required
    • 5+ years of demonstrated success as a business analyst or similar roles required.
    • 4+ years working in an agile environment
    • 2+ years of eCommerce analytics management experience
    • Ability to communicate in a compelling manner, drive organizational excellence, and influence teams that are directly or indirectly managed
    • Strong ability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments
    • Adapts well to change
    • Excellent oral and visual communication
    • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
    • Experience with multiple-source data and trend analysis such as social, analytics, customer feedback, customer service, etc.
    • Understanding of the omnichannel retail industry as a result of work experience in similar settings
    • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership, personal initiative, and accountability while embracing a collaborative approach
