The Role: Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Uncover new ways to promote Vivint products and services to our existing customer base, find ways to leverage our customers to promote new customer acquisition and encourage existing customers to invest more in their smarthome ecosystems through in-app purchases.

• Establish a strong balance between discovering new product opportunities and delivering world-class product experiences
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure product opportunities are valuable to customers, viable for the business, easy to use, and technically feasible
• Write clear and concise user stories and requirements, prioritizing development items to align with the product roadmap
• Work closely with cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, programmers, and QA to ensure delivery against the product roadmap
• Build and maintain relationships across the organization
• Monitor product performance and proactively identify opportunities for product improvements
• Identify opportunities for customer testing and drive execution while measuring and reporting results
• Partner with the GTM team to prepare operations, marketing, sales, supply chain, and support product channels for launch
• Pursue product and industry knowledge, identify trends and opportunities, and become a subject matter expert on designated products Required Skills: 5+ years of relevant work experience as a software product manager
  • Show deep commitment to solving customer problems and empathy for the consumer
  • Conversant in the technical aspects of building software
  • Mobile app development experience and/or consumer-based product-driven company experience required--
  • Works well with others to support shared goals
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Design, Business or a related fields Required Experience:

As part of the team, you will be responsible for delivering a strategic vision for the future of our mobile apps. This includes delivering new product roadmaps, prioritizing and collaborating among several product vertical roadmaps and you are comfortable having a sense of ownership despite distributed surface areas across teams.
