Kuali is hiring a Proposal Manager to oversee all proposal/RFP operations for the suite of Kuali Research products. This position will be responsible for developing an overall proposal strategy that is consistent, efficient, and persuasive. The Proposal Manager will own the execution and delivery of all prospect requests. Reporting directly to our VP of Sales for Kuali Research, this critical role will ensure that our proposals help potential Kuali Research customers understand the value our solutions and our community can provide.Who are we?Kuali builds software solutions for higher education. Not too shabby.RequirementsWHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR* Directing the creation, improvement, and distribution of proposals for both solicited and unsolicited RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs so that they are persuasive, well-written, and connect the value Kuali Research provides to the unique needs of the recipients.* Maintaining the proposal database to make sure all material being used remains updated to latest product versions. This content must be precise, thorough, and compliant with any legal standards internally or externally.* Ensuring all content provider author/task assignments are identified, assigned, and delivered on time.* Creating proposal drafts with precise, complete, and approved content that meets all technical and business proposal requirements* Facilitating all aspects of project management for proposals, from requirements documentation, to solution definition, content provider identification, project planning, meeting facilitation, draft development, and final proposal production and delivery* Monitoring public sites where RFPs are posted, such as gov.win, to ensure that Kuali evaluates any opportunities related to the Research Solutions business line.* Managing several proposals simultaneously in a relatively high volume and often short turnaround atmosphere.* Interacting with Sales, Product Development, Marketing, Finance, and potentially other areas of the Company to create persuasive proposals that effectively and clearly position Kuali's solutions to meet the needs of customers and prospects.* Managing key data related to RFP opportunities in SalesForce and/or other internal systems of record.* When not engaged in active proposal preparation, developing other written artifacts or performing other tasks as assigned to support the sales process. * Representing and demonstrating Kuali values, brand, and missionAbout YouWe're looking for a curious, enthusiastic, empathetic team player to help us connect with potential community members, execute on ideas, advocate for the customer, and contribute to a team culture built on trust and mutual respect.
