Job Description Job Description Shop Manager Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled productive Shop Manager to join our team. The Shop Manager will oversee the daily operations of shop to ensure smooth workflow and efficient processes. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to operational excellence, with a focus on compliance, efficiency, and communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with mechanical, welding repairs and the ability to perform safely and efficiently. Responsibilities: · Oversee all day-to-day operations of the shop to ensure a daily smooth and productive day. · Supervise all equipment and materials · Conducting routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of all equipment. Including repairs of company vehicles and heavy machinery. · Coordinate with Vendors to manage routine maintenance and repairs of fleet. · Maintaining the shop area and surroundings clean and safe at all times. · Organizing and conducting accurate records of all inventories, ordering necessary supplies, and ensuring proper storage. · Coordinate with project managers and foremen to align resource allocation with project demands. · Collaborate with all field personnel to communicate equipment needs and concerns. · Monitor and manage shop expenses to ensure operation and cost effectiveness. · Communicate any issues concerning shop material and equipment to the Operations team · Ensuring all safety regulations and company policies are met. Requirements: · Minimum of 3 years of experience as a welder and mechanical repairs. · Must be over 21 years old. · Strong knowledge in mechanical and equipment repairs. · Ability to read and communicate with team members, English and Spanish (preferred but not required). · Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively with others. · Valid driver's license. Must be able to pass an MVR Record · Conduct periodic progress, resolve challenges, and provide support to foremen.
