Job Description Job Description Job Summary: Electrical Panel Assembler. Job duties include fabricating and modifying industrial electrical low voltage control panel enclosures using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to connect VFD’s and other electrical components, relays, switches, and circuit breakers for low-voltage motor controls. Must be able to use a tape measure, be mechanically inclined, and read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings to ensure the accurate assembly of control panels. HVAC, wiring, manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, and industrial assembly would be a good fit. On-the-job training will be provided. Job Title: Control Panel Builder Pay Rate: $18/hr to $25/hr ($3 shift differential for swing shift) Job Location: West Jordan Shifts- Must be able to work OT as needed. Day Shift: 6am - 4pm, Monday - Thursday, 6am - 2pm, Tuesday - Friday Swing Shift: 4pm - 2am, Monday - Thursday, 4pm - 2am, Tuesday - Friday Responsibilities: Applicants could be required to do any of the following: Read, understand and utilize various wiring schematics and diagrams Physically assemble and wiring of low voltage electrical control panels Cut, strip, crimp 20g to 500mcm wire gages Lay out physical mounting devices to back panels Apply hand and power tools to ensure correct torque Perform re-work of wiring and assembly at the request and guidance of the QC technician Qualifications : Proficient at reading a tape measure Understanding and knowledge of reading wire diagrams Experience using power tools such as jig saws, drills, taps Meet the physical demands of lifting 35 lbs to 50 lbs frequently Be able to bend, stoop, reach, and be on feet for entire Company Perks: When you become a full-time employee: Medical Dental Vision 401K FSA Life Insurance Vacation starts accruing day 1 – two weeks per year for new employees up to 5 years Sick and Personal time received annually Paid Holidays Profit Share Bonus available after 30 full days of employment. *Qualifications must be met Flexible work schedule Casual work environment and dress code Overtime Available Company Description BBSI’s staffing and recruiting services are designed to find and place people for contract and permanent placement.
