Avetta is looking for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer. The Salesforce DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the Salesforce DevOps process. This includes managing our CI/CD pipeline, security updates, backup maintenance and data restores, QA processes, and anything else related to DevOps for Salesforce.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage all Salesforce security update roll outs.

Ensure our backup system is running smoothly.

Maintain and Improve the GitLabs integration with our Salesforce CI/CD pipeline.

Partner with other departments on maintaining various sandbox environments.

Work in partnership with QA team on including QA processes in CI processes.

Setup real-time error logging alerts, assist with debugging, and create tickets for team members to fix identified bugs.

Coordinate with Salesforce leadership on Salesforce releases and update unit test when necessary.

Look for ways to improve the Salesforce DevOps process and make recommendations to the Salesforce Architect.

Monitor uptime and work with Salesforce Support when issues arise.

Monitor Salesforce Storage capacity and work with analysts to clean up stale and unused data to get and keep within the storage capacity limit.

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years' experience in a Salesforce development environment.

Expertise with Salesforce test concepts and automated testing tools (sandboxes, unit tests, Selenium testing, etc.).

Hands-on experience using debug logs to identify bugs from Apex or declarative tools that prevent tickets from being released.

Proven ability to drive issues to closure.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

METRICS THAT MATTER:

Provide real-time support for security and backup issues relating to Salesforce

Show improvement in speed of release

Create and maintain effective documentation on DevOps processes

Maintain backups at 0 errors
