- Manage a team of Site Reliability Engineers running the
Kubernetes platform used by the Workfront engineering teams at
Adobe to host their services.What you'll Do
- Guide the team through sophisticated technical challenges.
Build camaraderie, develop the skills of individual contributors,
and guide them on their career path.
- Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, define Critical User
Journeys, SLIs and SLOs to build fast and fault-tolerant systems
and ensure we meet our reliability objectives.
- Build and operate multiple Kubernetes clusters in AWS, GCP and
Azure using an infrastructure as code approach.
- Resolve incidents in production by discovering root causes and
remediating, whether the issue exists within the platform or the
services it hosts.
- Set expectations and share timelines with collaborators.
Describe in technical detail the work that needs to be done, the
challenges the team is working to address, and the solutions that
will help us realize our objectives.
- Be responsible for the team's roadmap and delivering progress
incrementally.What you need to succeed
- Computer Science Degree or equivalent practical
experience.
- Excellent leadership, emotional intelligence, and communication
skills.
- Ability to manage and develop a team. Previous management
experience is preferred.
- Experience operating Kubernetes at scale.
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering.
- Familiarity with high level programming languages, web

across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently
based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this
positionis $123,000 -- $256,400 annually. Paywithin this range
varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related
knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more
about the specific salary range for the job location during the
hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are
expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission),
and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission
plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base
salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual
Incentive Plan (AIP).In addition, certain roles may be eligible for
long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award. About
