Job Description:

We---re looking for a highly motivated Senior Engineer to join our growing Novo Insurance team. We are looking for a senior engineer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows and micro-frontend deployment strategy. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. What you will do: Developing new user-facing features using React.js Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code Implementing Insurance specific SDKs Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers Requirements: Strong proficiency in web standards (i.e. HTML5, CSS, etc.) Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model Strong proficiency in building/using component libraries Strong proficiency in responsive web design preferably Material UI, SCSS, and GRID Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs preferably Axios Experience with front-end development tools preferably Babel, Webpack, and NPM. Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests preferably Cypress and Jest Understanding of React.js and its core principles and workflows Understanding of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token Understanding of benchmarking and optimization Knowledge of functional programming in Typescript Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git If you are eager to learn we are open and willing to teach strong candidates on the job.
