Senior AccountantPCF Insurance Services is a Top 20 U.S. brokerage firm that provides insurance solutions for our clients - we do this by using our expansive network of Agency Partners to match our clients with the specific insurance agencies that can fill their unique insurance needs. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead and manage our Account Managers, which will be performed with a focus on supporting the relationships between the account managers, the accounting teams, and the numerous insurance agencies with which we do business.As a leader in PCF, you will report to your account manager as you make leadership and management decisions, problem-solve independently, and resolve arising issues for your teams. In this position, you will be:

• Reporting financial information; providing timely, accurate, and useful information to management for review and decision making
• Working with Principles to communicate and manage financial goals/deadlines for month-end processes
• Performing full balance sheet reconciliation, including substantiation, for monthly close workpapers
• Preparing and posting journal entries and other month-end close functions
• Consolidating multi-company financial statements with variance analysis
• Supporting other accounting staff in the creation of annual audits
• Leading staff and junior accountants to ensure deadlines are met
• Interpreting data and identifying trends to influence projects
• Performing revenue reconciliation to carrier and client agreementsYou'll do it using your:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field
  • Current CPA license or equivalent work experience, with an impeccable understanding of accounting principles
  • 4+ years of experience in a challenging and deadline-oriented environment
  • General ledger accounting software experience (Excel, Sage, QuickBooks, SoftLedger, Traverse, etc.)
  • Experience in reconciliation controls, managing aged items, and escalating issues
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite such as Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in insurance accounts receivables The most successful candidates will have the ability to:
