About the Role
Here at LendingClub, we take pride in helping our customers
(members) through our ethos of service: Lending Care. We seek

and embody our values. By joining the Member Recovery Team you'll
have the opportunity to assist members who have fallen behind on
their payments (1-120 days past due including post charge-off).
What You'll Do
Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture,
values and mission of LendingClub
Take inbound collections calls (on an auto-dialer) in a pre-charge
off environment while maintaining "Lending Care" principles; "Build
a Relationship, Make it Easy, and Think Ahead"
Work in a fast paced, high volume environment as part of a team
where performance excellence and people centric values are core to
our success
Help influence/persuade members to make a decision through
effective negotiation that best benefits them while also meeting
their financial obligations
Handle difficult conversations with the ability to overcome
objections
Be solution-oriented with the ability to de-escalate challenging
situations
Simplify complex processes and make them easier for our members
Contribute to a positive team environment by recognizing alarms or
changes in morale and communicating them to your Team Lead
Pay for the position:
$18/hr base + monthly performance-based bonuses. Avg earnings
$22-24/hr
Schedules available:
9:30AM-6:00PM M-F
About You
Goals/metrics oriented and comfortable working in a
driven/competitive environment
Passionate about providing a welcoming experience to our members
over the phone in a fast-paced contact center environment
Adapt to new situations by thinking on your feet
Excited to work in a feedback-rich environment which you translate
to actionable results and dedicate time to your professional
development
The ability to relate to member's unique situations while still
providing solutions that make sense
Continue to learn the business and take ownership of your role and
responsibilities
Can be flexible with your schedule, have the availability, and can
work early mornings or later evening and possibly weekends if asked
or needed
Maintains regular and punctual attendance and can follow a
consistent daily schedule
Preferred Experience:
Collections experience in a high-volume environment
Experience in banking and/or finance
Familiar with CRM platforms
Customer Service/Contact Center work experience
COVID-19 Considerations:
LendingClub is currently working from home due to COVID-19, but we
are asking for flexibility going forward as circumstances change
and we determine to transition teams back to work in the office.
The following are requirements to perform this role while working
from home:
Have a quiet, dedicated space at home that meets your ergonomic
needs where you can work uninterrupted
Have high speed internet with low usage during business hours
Be able to connect directly into your modem/router (not via
wifi)
Be comfortable trouble shooting technical issues without in-person
IT support
Working Conditions
Required to be on the phones, work on a computer and at a desk for
extended periods of time including viewing a screen, using a mouse,
manipulating a keyboard and wearing a headset. Must be able to
function effectively in a dynamic fast-paced call center
environment where natural and regular work stressors can occur.
